In the months and weeks leading up to the in-person adventure, dive into captivating news articles, spellbinding videos, and unravel the secrets of the magical world through our very own Wikipedia.

Since Ravenbrook was destroyed in a violent ley line blast, its survivors now shelter within our castle walls. You’re given a starter satchel and taught the arts of potion craft, enchantment, and more. Intrigue gathers on the horizon, and your choices will shape the fate of the displaced villagers. Multiple side quests are available as a result from last year’s outcomes.

Embark on this quest, guided by our mystical runestone. Its runes reveal your unique destiny as you discover your future house. At Trefoil Academy, your house is your magical family. Will your house win the house cup?

Adventurers 101 teaches vital dungeon survival skills ensuring you're ready for any challenge.

Seeker’s Hall

Seeker’s Hall is where you will meet your specific truth seeker guild. You and your guild mates will have to figure out the best way to tackle a variety of opportunities.

A TYPICAL DAY . . .

ELECTIVE CLASS PERIOD

Your elective class period is a very important part of the school. Classes will have popped quizzes and homework that you can complete for extra rewards.

DUELING

We follow international LARPing rules in our foam based combat. Special permission is needed from the guardian to participate. Each day, Dueling focuses on a different topic.

  • Day 1: Single Combat (Swords, daggers)

  • Day 2: Melee Scenarios & Tactics

  • Day 3: Tournament

THREADED STEEL

This activity will be available all three days.

  • Learn how to make bracelets, necklaces, and small bags out of chain mail.

  • Learn how to make multiple types designs of chain mail.

POTION BREWING

This activity will be available all three days. However, there is a limit of how many times people may repeat this activity.

Design and make your own D20 or D8 potion roller. Once selecting your solutions color, you will enchant it and then seal it. Afterwards you will need to spend time decorating the bottle and coming up with a sheath for it.

NECRO-ARTIFICING

While some activities will take more than one day to complete, all three activities are offered each day.

SELECT YOUR ADVENTURE

Within the enchanting walls of Trefoil Academy, the tapestry of your journey is woven through the choices you make. As a seeker adventure, you will find a plethora of quests that await your daring spirit.

Step into Seeker’s Hall—a thrilling, 45-minute deep-dive into mystery, strategy, and discovery. In this guided investigation session, student guilds gain exclusive access to NPCs for interviews, interrogations, and intel gathering. It’s the ultimate hub for connecting clues, forming bold plans, and testing theories.

Here, seekers collaborate, research, deduce, and chase leads. Explore job board missions, uncover side quests, and weave information into bigger revelations. Students now have multiple additional resources available to them including insight tokens, leverage cards, interrogation cards, hot/warm/cold cards, social cue cards and more.

Every session of Seeker’s Hall will give students fresh evidence, new leads, and clear direction for their guild’s next move.

While students are initially assigned to a guild, transfers are possible. Furthermore, guilds are encouraged to trade with each other and can even form mega-guilds by creating a guild council.

TRUTH SEEKER’S HALL

  • The Ravenbrook Village Saga continues as the merchants and villagers take refugee at the castle after their village was destroyed by a ley line explosion.

    Gear up for thrilling adventures at Trefoil Academy by exploring shops filled with crafted combat gear and magical attire!

    Elevate your journey by crafting even powerful potions and enchanting your equipment. What may take a bit more time pays off tenfold than outright buying.

    Explore the political intrigue as multiple factions war against each other. Ravenbrook is shrouded in its own mysteries. Your decisions impact the story!

    Plus, take advantage of the opportunity to become a student merchant and earn extra income by setting up your own shop in the second half!

  • Each summer, the magical term focuses around a epic main adventure. The results of that adventure and the decisions made along the way permanently alter the on-going story for future generations.

    Throughout the day, you are preparing for that day’s dungeon crawls by crafting/purchasing items in Ravenbrook Village to learning new spells, and finding out critical information.

    A dungeon crawl is when a group of adventurers navigates a maze-like environment. You will battle various monsters, loot any treasures you may find, and seek to achieve a particular objective.

    You may use any object that is on them. This can be a protective amulet that was made during an elective or even the flashlight that was in your day bag.

    Furthermore, there are two implementation styles of dungeon crawls. You will have an opportunity to select your preferred style when completing your student parchment forms. The implementation styles are:

    • Tabletop Role-play: The adventure is played out with tokens that represent each of the characters and a map. The players sit around the map.

    • Live Action Role-play: The adventure plays out in the environment. The players serve as their character tokens. They act out their character’s movements and choices.

    You will be able to indicate your preferences along with your skill level in your student parchments.

    New or relatively inexperienced to dungeon crawling? Please do not worry! We all were brand new at one point or another. We teach.

  • There are two types of Independent Adventures.

    Spot Adventures: Adventurers may randomly encounter opportunities to impact the on-going story as the Void-Walkers pull them mentally into the void.

    Independent Dungeon Crawls:
    During the Elective Workshop period or meal time, students may choose to go on an independent dungeon crawl. This one-shot table-top or LARP experience changes each day.

  • At Trefoil Academy of Magery and Sorcery, supporting adventures offer students the chance to explore enchanting dungeons filled with unexpected challenges and treasures in lieu of attending a magical class.

    These quests may or may not tie into the main storyline, giving you the freedom to uncover hidden secrets and test your skills in thrilling new environments.

    Whether you're battling mischievous creatures or solving ancient puzzles, every supporting adventure promises extra excitement and magical surprises!

  • There are several different types of opportunities to unlock previously hidden elements of the on-going story.

    Staff Specific Quests will allow you to dive into the faculty's adventures and see the on-going story in a whole another light. At Trefoil Academy of Magery and Sorcery, the esteemed faculty lead lives as vibrant and chaotic as the spells they teach. With colorful pasts and intriguing secrets, their summer escapades are beginning to influence their agenda with the academy.

    Our universe is rich with a wide variety of colorful non-player characters (NPCs). Participating in NPC Specific Quests can strength alliances, uncover new factions, and maybe even find new allies.

    Join a Faction Quest and aid them with their aspirations, and challenges. Each faction quest will test your skills and commitment, revealing treasures and secrets that redefine your path as you rise through the ranks. Unlock new opportunities and abilities.

    Hunger for the unexpected? The Job Board is your gateway to a trove of Odd Jobs! These tasks range from the whimsical, like concocting potions from rare herbs to the daring, such as recovering stolen relics from the legendary thief’s lair. Each assignment presents new characters, thrilling narratives, and unexpected plot twists that enrich your journey and broaden your impact in this vibrant world.

    Every quest and job you undertake is more than a mere task; it’s a stepping stone on your path to crafting your very own epic saga.     • Brace yourself for the spine-chilling thrills of the Eerie Echoes, a haunted house experience. Will you be able to escape in time? Eerie Echoes will now have conclusions that impact the overall story.

    • (Age Restricted - 11 years and older) Embark on the thrilling 'Wands-At-The-Ready' manhunt, navigating a darkened maze with fellow mages, where every twist unveils secrets and more than a few scares. Wands-At-The-Ready will now have conclusions that impact the overall story.

  • At Trefoil Academy of Magery and Sorcery, special events add a dash of spontaneity to the week, breaking the routine with unexpected magical surprises! From impromptu dueling tournaments to whimsical potion festivals, these exciting happenings allow students to showcase their skills and immerse themselves in the vibrant school community.
